Shoreline District Advancement Committee
First of all we are trying to make the process of Eagle project approval and Eagle Board of Reviews as fair and consistent as possible, with the criteria and their application as clear as possible. Please remember this committee is still a work in progress. We are looking for a few good people to sit on this board. If you know of anyone: Community member, Eagle Scout, Committee Members, Advancement Chairs, no scoutmaster please, contact Jeff Stevens, Eagle Board Chairman. We are trying to “Do Our Best” to give the boys a good quality Eagle Board.
Location: Currently we are meeting in Bay City at the Visiting Nurse Services of Michigan building in the conference room on first floor. The building is located on Bay Regional Medical Center West Campus; this is located on West Professional Drive, off Midland Street (or road), between Euclid and Two Mile Rd. It sits back in an open field and is a two story building with a green roof. Enter the main entrance from the parking lot in front of the building (north side parking lot). The left door is the appropriate entrance. The door on the right leads to Brian’s House (the in patient hospice facility). By the time of the first appointment of the evening, signage will be posted on the building entrance. An alternative location in Standish is the Standish High School at 2401 Grove Rd.
Scheduling: The board will meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. To approve eagle projects the Scouts needs to set up a time for a review and approval. We will meet from 7:00 PM until we are finished, with time intervals established to minimize waiting time. To schedule an appointment please e-mail or leave a phone message on Nancy Samolewski answering machine . When contact the board, please leave your name, phone number, troop number and brief message.
No walk-in please.
