2013 National Jamboree

The 2013 National Scout Jamboree will be held July 15th through July 24th, 2013 (plan on 1-2 days before and after the Jamboree for travel and or tours)… at new The Summit: Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve, located in the mountains near Beckley, West Virginia. Know as “The Summit” for short, the 10,600-acre site boarders the New River Gorge National River Area with over 70,000 additional acres to explore. The Summit is the Boy Scouts newest National High Adventure Base and will serve as the new permanent home of the National Scout Jamboree. New to the Jamboree in 2013 will include Venturing.

You must follow all of the steps for the online registration.

Then you must download the council application (PDF below), and National request form which includes the parental consent approval section, complete both forms and send in to LHAC with $100 refundable deposit.  (refundable until Sept 1, 2012)
